Release your inner mixologist in the final class of this fun, informative, and downright decadent series! This week, we'll learn the history of Mulled Wine (aka Glögg) and make our own mulling spices, as well as 2 decadent seasonal favorites: Cardamom-Fig Vodka and Apple-Spiced Bourbon. Take home original recipes, three different infusions for your home bar, and the knowhow to transform the wild flavors of fall in New England into your own signature sodas and sparkling cocktails. 21+ only.
How it works:
Each BYOB workshop can be taken as a stand-alone class, or you can complete the series and come away with an entire collection of handcrafted, botanical recipes.
Each class you'll bring a small amount of your own suggested base spirit(s)* and 3 jars to put your creations in. I'll supply all the other (non-alcoholic) materials, including local produce, raw honey, wildcrafted herbs, and organic spices, for flavors straight from the garden! *The alcohol you bring doesn't need to be top shelf; inexpensive bottles are fine.
Sept 12: Summer in a Bottle (Cucumber-Habanero Tequila, Wild Mint Julep, and Lavender Liqueur) - bring your own tequila (1 cup), vodka (2 cups), and jars (3)
Oct 17: Wild Syrups and Sparklers (Autumn Olive Syrup, Wild Grape Soda, Honey-Herb Martinis and more) - bring your own vodka (2 cups) and jars (3)
