In this hands-on workshop you’ll be introduced to the basics of this ancient, eco-friendly art form, using plants and natural mineral salts to dye fibers and fabrics. Learn about the wide range of plants that produce gorgeous colors—some of which can be grown in your own garden! Students will go home with three kinds of silk scarves plus wool and cotton samples that they’ve dyed themselves!
